Rihanna takes the reign as the top selling digital artist to date, according to Nielsen Soundscan.
As the most talked about Artist on Facebook in the past year, Rihanna edged out the competition with a total of 47.5 million paid downloads. The Black Eyed Peas, Eminem and Lady Gaga trailed for 2nd, 3rd, and 4th, respectively.
Rihanna's music career began in 2005, racking up popular singles from 2006's S.O.S., 2007's smash-hit Umbrella to 2011's Dance anthem We Found Love. She just released her latest album, Talk that Talk, with You Da One as her recently released single.
However, in 2011 alone, Rihanna was the 3rd Top Selling Digital Artist in Digital Sales.
