Late evening yesterday, Kanye West went on a "Tweeting Tirade" to his almost 6 million followers. Over 70 Tweets posted involved rants, raves, a new design company, and an announcement that his former agent, Cara Lewis, was no longer with the William Morris agency.
Cara Lewis, a long-time agent (23 years to be exact) for the William Morris Talent Agency was known to hone in major Hip-Hop and R&B talents, including the names of 50 Cent, Rihanna, Lupe Fiasco and up to recently Kanye West.
Even though the move to Creative Artists Agency occurred almost one month ago, signed artists like Roots drummer Questlove, was just informed through West's tweets. Like Questlove, most of the public had no idea of the transition.
This leaves many questions in the air as to who will follow in the months after the transition and the affects that it will have on both agencies. Supposedly, Eminem, represented by Lewis, will follow over with her. Many wonder as to why the move was made and what could be occurring behind the scenes at the William Morris agency.
